All Students can select their courses till 15th October 2026.Students who appeared in in summer semester 2026 will be able to select their courses after 7th October, after the declaration of their results. Selected Courses" And it will be Updated.

Important Instructions For VU Course Selection.

1. IF your CGPA is less then 2.0 , you can select maximum 18 credit hour , you cannot select more than 18 credits hour in one semester.

2. For students in their last semesters: Sometimes, if you are in your last 1 or 2 semesters and you have more credit hours left to complete your degree, than the university can allow you a limit of 21 credit hours on special request. 

3. For students with good CGPA: If your CGPA is good, for example 3.0 or above, then VU also provides you with a limit of 21 credit hours so that you can complete your degree faster.

Some More Important Rules for VU Course Selection

1. Blocked VULMS Account:

If your VULMS is blocked due to non-payment of fee, then you cannot select your courses. First you have to clear your dues from the Accounts Department to make your LMS active again.

2. Grade Improvement Policy:

If you got low grades in any subject, you can repeat that course to improve your grade. If you get a better grade, your new grade will replace your old grade. But you can improve a course only once, and only from your previous semesters. Also, a failed course can be repeated until you pass it.

3. Need Help in Course Selection:
